Attack of The Southern Fried Zombies
Overall Recommendation
Recommendation?
It’s the community college version of a good zombie movie. It’s not bad, except when it’s horrible, which is at about Asylum levels, but when it’s good, it’s… a decent little zombie movie. Except when they try to be original, or when they blatantly rip something else off… or… The cast here is strange. It’s like… almost as if they crowd-sourced the talent, but in a very randomized way, so everyone who wanted a role threw their name in a hat and then they picked to see who was playing what. The mayor? Easiest the best thing in the movie, but he’s just a discount Gary Bussey, which is in no way a bad thing. On some days, you get better Gary Bussey out of the counterfeit than you do the original, which has needed it’s oil changed for a while now. This starts better than it ends. My idea to make a drinking game out of Kudzu would be a great success, as long as complete hammered obliteration was your original goal. Or maybe one that you quickly adopted whence first understanding how bad an undertaken you had chosen poorly and thusly became committed to not retaining the viewing memories at all. I wouldn’t judge you. I think it comes down to this. Can you enjoy a movie with pretty good action until the CGI becomes vomitously abused, meat pies and goat contracts feature heavily in the sub-plots, and the characters learn and accomplish absolutely nothing? Where half the time you can’t understand whatever they’re saying? Have I mentioned how bad the CGI was? Seriously. Get some idiot friends together, play the drinking game, have a good time. If you’re anything of a purist or intellectual, skip this in favor of anything by John Carpenter or Ridley Scott. Or Mel Brooks. This is by no means a horrible movie. It’s a kinda fun pretty stupid mediocre laugh at it with your fiends movie with a shitty ending. Glory Days.
Plot Autopsy
Plot Autopsy
- Pretty cool little, like, bush plane or something and some pretty cool flying
- The three stooges try to steal some weed and one gets bit
- There’s a carnival in town that… is staffed by townspeople.
- Far too much bullshit about meat pies and goats. Nope, not fucking kidding.
- Zombie carnage everywhere, some of it’s good, anything dramatic sucks
- Someone’s dog took a piss in the server when they were finalizing the CGI and no-one noticed.
Zombie Description
Zombie Description
Dumb. Plant based. In the beginning of the movie, a plane is spraying agriculture stuff, and it… There was a guy who was dead in his house and then the spray made him turn into a zombie and he bit this kid, but… other people who got sprayed turned into zombies too, but not everyone, since we saw the plane pass right over the main character and he never turned into a zombie. But, when you do, you go through a quick die and revive, at which point your eyes are now dull and opaque. Every once in a while some zombies have plants growing out of their shirts, or there’s the master zombie with the horrible prosthetics that involve mushrooms. Oh, yeah. One guy turns completely green like the Hulk. Kudzu also grows in your veins or muscle tissue or something like that. They showed us that and talked about it a lot. Some of these are fast zombies, some of them are pretty slow…
Where the money went
Where the money went
What money? This has all the hallmarks of community theater self-sourcing their own “Pay to participate” movie production. There were little bits of pretty cool shit here and there, but the overall was one of suck. I know money went into the CGI, but it shouldn’t have. An intern at any tech school could probably do better for free. You know my rule about “Don’t include it if you don’t need to and the only way you can do it is to suck.” rule? Well, the machete-through-the-head falls under that. As well as the whole “mowing down a flock of seagulls” shit.
Best Weapon
Best Weapon
This actually has something that I’m fucking hella-psyched to share. Like, so much of this takes place in the same 20 person carnival that it benefited them as they had a fire-breather on hand to incinerate zombies. We only got to see it once, seeing it three times would have been too many, but fuck, that was cool. I also have to throw out mad props to my favorite platform ever, the AK47, which featured heavily here, whether on t-shirts or gunning down children. Always a favorite, and no, they don’t jam like that. You can throw one into a spinning 747 turbine and after the engine grenades and you’ve picked up all the pieces, you’ll be able to pull the AK out of the rubbish bin and still dump a couple clips up into the sky while yelling “Ai Ai Ai Ai Ai Ai!!!!”
Can I get a hand?
Can I get a hand?
Shit. Well, in the beginning, the first they see of the dead guy is a hand. And then there’s all the good hands banging on the windows at the end. Ummm… Not a whole lot else to be really proud of, you know? I liked all the crow-bar killings, I appreciate that they did not touch the fire extinguisher, kudzu is a really dumb topic to make a movie about…
That was new!
That was new!
So… the “turning into plants” thing wasn’t new. The “use a propane tank to make a bomb to knock down the zombie horde” wasn’t new. The “airplane drives around killing your enemies” thing wasn’t new. The new? Uh… the above fire-breather… The emphasis on meat pies and goats.
Review Notes
Review Notes
Jesus, they’re starting off with the word Kudzu over and over… We get it! KUDZU!!!
“Globo”. No. Name fail.
Poorly duct taped tube…
Flying…
So… pretty well shot. They’re not using CGI bullshit out of control or anything, it all seems pretty good.
Three dudes drinking and waking… in the fields.
About to get sprayed.
They’re smoking weed!
“I’m kinda partied out, man.” Who says this? No-one. Or rather, no-one worth hanging with.
A goat. Kudzu!
So… drinking and littering and breaking into a hermit’s cottage. All great ideas.
“The hand ain’t moving.”
Whoah. Why he kicking in the door?
I like the AK shirt.
“Wake up, you goat-fucker!”
These guys are… very sticky fingered. Not good people.
Oh! We have the first zombie!
He bit the tubby one!
Enter title. Nice.
Kinda a “Kudzu-themed” surf-rock theme.
Gosh, these guys… a chainsaw? For Kudzu?
Religious crap on billboards. Been there, seen that.
The Mayor!
“The blues festival sure crept up fast. Sir.” Great actress. Great.
“An ass-full of Italian leather.”
As far as planes go, I think that one is pretty cool. Like, a hot rod version of a plane.
What the fuck did she just say?
What kinda accent does he think he’s using?
What? I don’t understand a fucking thing she’s saying.
They… cook with kudzu.
Zombie is mushroom foraging.
Of course it hurts!
Zombie… going out into the deep end… down… into the deep end…
What the fuck is that guy saying?
I like her. I can understand most of what she’s saying.
Is that the same kid who flies the plane?
The goats eat kudzu. “Goats like to play with it…”
We got some damn near walking blues going on. Nice.
Nice truck- kinda. Queen.
This is very carefully staged to make it seem there’s more people here than there is.
As pathetic as this is, I have a Glory Days themed memory regarding one of those dunk tanks. I was a pitcher in Little League, and I wrecked my right arm throwing side-arm with a twist. I can’t throw anything with force with my right arm or it all goes to shit and I’m in pain for months. For years, I worked for a grocery logistics company, and like all other soulless entities, the thing it wanted most was us, it’s employees, to believe that it did have a soul. So one summer they had a fair on a random afternoon, and there were all sorts of games and stuff. We had recently taken on a bunch of new Business Analyst Trainees (BATS) who were kids who had 3-2’d undergrad and graduate school, who then got hired for stupid salaries, and honestly were staffed through nepotism and the friends of such heirs. We’d just gotten one of these guys into our division, and a couple months later he’s running it, and we have a pretty good relationship. As well as management can have with an employee who is brazenly sleeping with a half-dozen women who work in the same huge cubicle farm together. When management made the announcement about the upcoming fair, I bet our manager I’d sink him in front of everyone. A little later, he stopped by my desk and dropped off a dollar bill- for the game. I went out, paid my dollar for three balls, dunked him on the first throw, and walked away. I mean, it was cool, but honestly, he had been dunked about 20 times already at that point and I don’t think he took it as personally as I intended it. I didn’t mean to dunk him- I hit the target pad when I missed with the ball I threw at my boss. (Ir)regardless, though, it’s… I can’t remember what the movie is… like, a fair?
So… she’s… strong. And lesbian.
“If this is hell, book me a room immediately.”
I think we’re meeting our cast. The slutty rich assholes. The lesbians.
Beefcake? Ring her bell? Take a walk? Games?
So much painful innuendo. Painful.
“Herbalicous”? What the fuck? Shit’s fucking legalized, mon!
This is the dirtiest scientific anything I’ve ever seen.
I still can’t understand a fucking thing she’s saying.
Cannibal? No. CARNIVAL. Gotcha. I can’t understand a thing she’s saying.
Who are these amazons?
Who is… Oh! Ok. Startled! Fucking zombie!
So much red… Back to the band playing.
Ok, so… they’re bringing up peanut oils and allergies a lot. This… This sucks.
I didn’t really mean that. But… I don’t… care.
I do not believe that those are working aprons. Way too clean.
And you can just walk around the fucking thing, don’t have to leap over it.
Meat pie? “They’ll put lead in your pecker.” That’s… not supposed to be a selling point of meat pies.
He’s ranting about goats? Meat Pies? My wife makes the best Nigerian Meat Pies.
Uh… this is hard to explain.
Another monster truck, with poorly sped up footage.
More of the band, but different people playing different instruments.
Lesbian action. Mild, tepid, uninspiring lesbian action.
They keep showing the same zombie and he’s poorly made latex.
Oh, shit! She kicked his ass!
Got bitten by a gator?
No heat?
Only mammals can contract rabies? That’s… interesting.
“I listen in science class.”
“My balls!”
“But does anyone have any weed though?”
No shit. There’s a mushroom growing on the zombies head. Cat is already glitching.
“and about as much sugar as you can shake a stick at!” Well, besides what he ate.
“Keep an eye on them little booger eaters!” I kinda do like this guy after all.
I like that owl.
Awkward. Marty. Trent.
Dude. You’re getting friended.
911? She’s got to go? Lonnie, you’re a loser. “Go to your better life then.” Yup.
Heckle-life! Heckle-life! Heckle-life!
It’s all about the meat-pies.
The clown. Something pedo about that clown.
Seems like this is all about meat pies and goats.
“I want to be big in meat pies.”
“And I want to market your pies.”
I think the band is called “Sarcasm revival”?
Shit, my throat is wrecked. Way too much coughing.
Another guy just got bit by the zombie.
How is she an expert on gator bites?
He’s leaking green.
Bikers just show up and start arguing.
They may fucking love each other but I hate them.
Oh. Well, they’re not going to be around for long.
Not talking, at least. And that was their greatest sin.
Poor coffee mug.
We… don’t need to know how many times you vomited.
Oh. Green. Yuck.
The yuppie’s car won’t start.
Asher is LOUD.
They all trust her to pronounce him dead?
Back to fucking around with meat pies?
We’re sabotaging peoples meat pies?
Kudzu growing out of his arm? Not the best CGI.
“Ed. No. He ain’t worth it.”
The zombies have multiplied and things are getting interesting!
YAY! The yuppie got bit!
So did… shit. He looks like… that… computer guy.
Zuckerberg. Got bit.
The clown got bit.
We’re quickly whittling down the cast.
I still can’t understand what the fuck she’s saying.
That’s gross, but shitty CGI.
Definitely helps you tan.
Well, she’s alive longer than I’d hoped. Or expected.
I also have a large yellow forehead-smasher-opener.
Everything is about pry-bars now.
“I thought you were too stoned for this.”
Nice. An AK.
Oh, a zombie in the dunk tank.
Ha! The fat redneck trying to make it up into his truck!
Cane-Fu!
“Let the power of rock and roll take over!”
Uhh… vines growing out of the zombies?
Half way through the movie…
Dude using a propane tank as a bomb to scatter a bunch of zombies so they can escape… Ahem. Dawn.
Ok, I like zombie clown.
Oh. Shit. That’s a fucking new awesome weapon. Blowing flame at the zombies. Literally.
Couple of prepper idiots…
It’s total and complete carnage, but that doesn’t mean it’s a good thing.
The machete through the face was pathetic.
That was some reach and fail CGI style.
An AK from 2 feet away against a kid? I’m ok with that.
“You’re the botanist babe. What do you think?”
They’ve just made the jump that this is due to the chemical? Sure, whatever.
GI Idiot just fired off a rocket-launcher.
Who is the tactical guy? With the perfectly greased hair?
I like the mayor. Stabbed a zombie with an electric guitar.
Uh… the mayor has gone the way of Apocalypse Now
Jesus, this tactical this is embarrassing.
Why the fuck is the guy in a ghili suit if he’s shooting from the top of a building?
This CGI sucks.
I do like that van though.
What the fuck did he just say?
I can’t understand anyone in this fucking movies.
“The money they offered me made me happier than Richard Simmons watching Brokeback Mountain!”
There’s regular traffic going on behind them as they film. There is not a zombie apocalypse going on beyond that within the unfertile, Beavis and Butthead imaginations of these actors.
More embarrassing tactical shit.
The Mayor is in full Gary Bussey mode, though, and I like it.
That awesome van ran out of gas. In the middle of a fucking field?
Wow. 55 minutes into the movie and we’re having the concept of zombies explained to us.
This drama shit hurts. You two can’t act together. I mean, dude… ok. I’m sold. That was a good death scene.
I like the heads being split in two, but it’s bullshit budget CGI.
“Take… on… meee… Take… me… on!”
Fucking place looks like the Kudzu amazon.
They all have red on them.
Now the zombies have kudzu growing out of them.
Lotta damage in that tree already.
Back to goats… possum… hog… nuts? No.
Sorry. AK’s don’t jam.
Oh, one of the lesbian power couple got bit!
That dude is Hulk green.
Uh, lots of them got bit. I think.
“There’ll be more to kill for Trent’s sake. I promise.”
Suddenly… the perspective changes? For about 4 seconds?
And then we’re in the warehouse.
Good hands on the windows!
Lotta good hands on the windows.
Milling about…
They are still dragging their bitten comrades around with them. Very slow learners.
Please, God, no more of that lame tactical cringe “grown men cosplaying soldiers” bullshit.
“She’s a real peach.” That’s love? THAT?
What? He’s been bit too? Fucking everyone has been bit.
Dr. Fukushima. Really? That’s the name you went with? “The Fukushima nuclear disaster was a 2011 nuclear accident at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant in Ōkuma, Fukushima, Japan. The proximate cause of the nuclear disaster was the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami natural disaster that occurred on 11 March 2011 and was the most powerful earthquake ever recorded in Japan. The earthquake triggered a powerful tsunami, with 13–14 meter high waves causing damage to the nuclear power plant. The result is the most severe nuclear accident since the Chernobyl disaster in 1986, classified as level seven on the International Nuclear Event Scale (INES), after initially being classified as level five,[8][9] joining Chernobyl as the only other accident to receive such classification.” See, there’s a reason some might say that naming choice is in bad taste. Yet others will point out that Charlottesville NC is a fascist paradise. So burn the fucking place down already.
Nope. No idea what she said. Did she fund this entire movie just to get into it?
“How much ammo do you have left?” (checks clip) “Not much.” (zombie attacks, she fires off 8 rounds of a magazine that only holds 30ish. So, when she said “Not much” she still had at least a quarter of a magazine. And you can’t tell that by looking down the stack.
What did she say?
Aw, shit. I see a fire extinguisher.
Memphis? That’s far enough?
YES!! DR. FUKUSHIMA JUST SAID “GET TO THE CHOPPER!” Oh, it tastes SO gooood!
“Get out of the meat pie business?”
Wait, why are they chasing the plane?
Oh. So we could do this. Driving a plane across the ground and running through a bunch of zombies like the plane in Indiana Jones
Helicopter taking off…
Ed with the shot.
Fake flames all around!
Oh, lord, this is bad. I take back whatever praise I gave or implied.

Introduction
Introduction
Jeebers, I can’t stop coughing. My own fault, I know. 4 grains of rice is a bit big. I’ve learned that lesson a million times without learning it at all. Wife and I were up in Portland yesterday, and we were having a smoke in the car before the walking of the waterfront, and I burned myself 3 times. Each time I laughed, waited a second, and then “NARF!”.
She thought the first 2 were funny. I think she believes I intentionally burn myself for fun. It’s not fun. It’s just not pain, it’s a different sensation. Too much of it turns into pain, but it’s more like an electric shock, it’s there, then it’s not, and all you’re left with afterwards is a bit of tingles and an extremely dulled view of Ben Franklin’s intelligence as proven by the Flown Key from Kite and now that you’ve tangled with the perfectly polite 110v, you wonder what kind of idiot would moon god in the middle of a lightning storm by flying a bit of metal up into where the Valhalla Sparkles shine.
Had a 2nd meeting with T_____. New item to work on keeping in the forefront is that everything that I’m upset about from bullying in elementary school is most probably only kept alive in my own head. It’s quite possible a couple of those tormentors have died, or turned out so pitiful of a life that I’d lose the hate and possibly even gain some empathy were I to encounter them again. Most definitely, neither of us would recognize the other, so any hate left swirling though hurricanes is not reality, it’s imaginary, and of my own design.
I didn’t come out so straightly to say it, but we did discuss how I felt that I would quite possibly experience a catharsis upon executing one of them, but… Shit.
In regards to growing of our own mushrooms, let me tell you, I have a tiny spot of life in the Brown Rice Flour (BRF) Jars. I’m stoked. None of them have gone to green, either. Damn. Just had a great idea. Just got back from drawing out the basics of a “Laminar Flow Still Air Box” which, although it may be an oxymoron, (I *think* I know what that word means!) is going to kick ass.
The biggest problem with growing mushrooms is contamination. Think of it this way- mycelium start off weak as hell, and need some seriously fertile nourishment for the spores to take hold and git down with the replication boogie. (This may actually not be true in reality at all, but it is my perception based on the amount of failed mushroom cultivation attempts that I’ve recently deep-6’d.)
The hardest part- so far, he says wisely… the hardest part SO FAR has been keeping bacteria and molds and shit out of the mycelium’s growing medium. Up until these BRF jars, I was batting somewhere around “stepping into a pitch simply to make it to base before I get fired for ineptitude”, so we decided that we’d try a Still Air Box. (SAB) That’s pretty much just a big Tupperware tote with a couple of hand-holes cut in it so you can do all your work in a very small environment without contaminants.
However, if you really want to get it on, like full agar and stuff, and you happen to live in an 1880 house that has merely gotten draftier over time, it’s almost impossible to sterilize and then keep sterile. The SAB looks like it did good work with the BRF jars… but yesterday my wife and I walked into a pawn shop and dropped a little over $500, but… we got a Hepa Filter air circulator.
So now I can build a Laminar Flow Hood. Which means that our work space is going to be a big, positive pressure work-station under plexiglass like in the science fiction movies where people wear the big biolab suits with the hoses that connect to the walls for air and stuff.
I don’t think you’re supposed to pee in them. I don’t know though. That might be the “Not smart as a scientist” version of Jackson talking there. The version that has gotten all the concussions. Regardless, this engineering project is going to be fucking dope. AND. The wife got two pairs of name brand sunglasses to replace the pair she lost when she was out drinking and paddle-boarding with the girls.
I know she insists that it was actually paddle-boarding with some drinks, but… probably wouldn’t have dropped your sunglasses in the middle of a lake if you dead sober now, would you? I don’t know. I’m asking. But anyway, since she lost her good pair, we got her two good pairs to prepare for the next loss.
One pair is wood framed, and when she looked to find out how much they go for, they don’t sell them anymore. We can’t find any record of them existing. So we think she got something that was very limited run in the very beginnings of the company, and that’s pretty cool. I’ve reached out both on Instagram and Email to the company asking for help identifying which model they are, but since we used a picture of the glasses being worn by our Pitbull, maybe that’s why they’re not taking us seriously.
See, T____ would say that I shouldn’t assume that’s the case, and rather, I should just know that no-one from the company has replied to me, and there are a plethora of reasons that this could be the case. I shouldn’t assume personal rejection. But let me tell you what does NOT feel like rejection? I found a website devoted to the tiny punk ska band that I used to listen to when I was a young teen. BiG MiSTAKE.
Yeah. I expected blank looks. But this is a band that I saw repeatedly, and sang continuously, and wore the clothing of. This tiny band from a tiny place near my tiny place was BiG enough in person to make me feel like we weren’t still TiNY. So, I was hunting YouTube looking for one of their songs, and it turns out I was looking under the wrong band’s name, but hey, you can’t hold that against me. These memories are 30 years old! But I found a website devoted to the band, run by a member of the band. I didn’t know this though, when I wrote to info@ilovebigmistake.com.
“Hey, I saw you guys a bunch of times in New England back in the early 90’s. I remember burning trumpets and dive-rolling guitar solos, and I was at the NorthHampton show in the basement of Pearl St. when Jen(?) announced she was leaving the band to go to school?
Your CD remained a constant in my life, I can still sing Pop Song (Green) by heart. I was given London Calling when I was, like, 8 by a friend of my fathers. I put purchasing your CD as an equal influence in my life.
I had one of your hats. I wore it constantly. My friends still tell me about the party that I walked over to the CD player, pulled out Mazzy Star (which some hippie had stuck in with that one song on f’n REPEAT) and put you guys on and then sat in front of the machine glowering at people with your hat and crossed arms until, like, I think I was lured out into night under the promise of donuts to come. Or something. It was a party.
You guys were and are fucking awesome. I love you and appreciate you to this day.
Thank you!
-J”
And then, less than an hour later, I received a response.
“Hi Jackson.
Thanks for the kind words. It’s amazing to hear stories from other perspectives during those times, it’s why I (C____) like to capture videos and pictures and what not of life – also why I’m into documentary film and filmmaking.
I know what you mean about impacting life events. I was just talking with my brother-in-law about this exact topic. For me – seeing skater Rodney Mullen skate in Wear Farms mall for the swatch demo – inside the mall, doing all the tricks I only saw in Transworld magazine, and seeing it come alive was mind blowing. He is/was such a raw talent that was way ahead of his times, did the Ollie years before others adapted it to street style and witnessing it for me was so impressionable. And made me realized I sucked as a skater and was more like lance mountain than Tony hawk.
I have a trove of videos and pictures I sift through during lulls at work, have B____ from Frogboy helping me out and just got 2 videos from a fan of shows I forgot about and don’t remember (the purple gator in Torrington CT). It’s all fun, life was simpler yet still dangerous in ways, I’m glad we had a positive impact and nice memories for you, music is such a blessing in ways, so glad I was able to be a part of the experience. Fun while it lasted.
Check the FB/YT accounts as new stuff goes up like every 2 months.
Thanks again”
One of my rockstar heroes wrote back to me. Within an hour. That’s… worth living for. But the real truth? Glory Days? “It’s all fun, life was simpler yet still dangerous in ways”. I know how I interpret that. I think everyone probably interprets it a different way.
I do believe that I am lucky to be the last generation that was encouraged to go do shit and helmets were optional. Yes, I do joke with my wife about taking care of a short white fat bald version of Ali when she gets older, but she says she loves me and I’m serious about going out squirrel suiting if I need to.
Safer than that, though, as long as you’re not my wife’s sunglasses, is paddle-boarding. Which now we can do, since along with buying her two pairs of sunglasses to replace the single pair that she lost on a rented paddle-board, now we have our own paddle-board for us to lose glasses off of.
This is river-paddle-boarding we’re talking about. I do believe I should order some of those “Floaty hold onto your glasses when you go in the drink” straps. Done. Huge matching obnoxious high-visibility yellow. Puffy. We’re going to look like an alien version of Devo out for a river float. Actually, this is a great gift for my buddy, since he’s going to float the Saco in a coupe of weeks. I’m jealous.
I floated it once in my 20’s when I was dating a cocaine-addled stripper with a strong aversion to commitment. We’re talking me writing her poems and her bringing me flowers type shit- and then her missing our date or spending 20 minutes in the bathroom before coming out, announcing she’s done with dinner, and wants to go dancing now.
Last I heard, she was wasted in a bar by the waterfront and some sailors were trying to give her a ride home since she was wasted, and then she bit one of them on the arm and took off in her car at high-throttle careen across the parking lot, through a fence, and then into the backside of the bar’s street’s guardrail.
No idea what to watch tonight. Whoops! There’s so much other shit and yet nothing of import. Roses. Shit. I guess we’re going with The Attack of the Southern Fried Zombies. Nice. What, exactly, is chicken fried steak? I’ve heard of it, and then once my friend and I went to a restaurant that we’d never been to and he ordered it, so I asked him if it was good and he said it was, so I ordered it too, and what I got was fucking inedible.
It was akin to if a Chuck Converse got ran through an industrial blender and then the scraps were splashed with some grain batter and pounded flat into the shape of a mush. Then deep-fried. I kinda fucked with mine a little with my fork and then asked him “What *is* chicken fried steak?” and he replied “How the fuck would I know? I’ve never had it before.”
And this was *before* he started smoking weed or taking mushrooms. Go figure. “Lonnie, a crop duster pilot, must lead a mismatched group of survivors to escape the deadly zombie horde after an experimental chemical, intended to control the invasive kudzu vine, transforms the citizens of Charleston, MS into zombies.” See, here’s another case of a stupid person getting put in charge of something harder than they’re able to do correctly.
Why the fuck do they take the time to say this is an experimental chemical, since of course it is, the FDA would never allow an insecticide or kudzu-vine-aside that causes zombieism. And Kudzu? I think I propose a drinking game, which is every time the movie says “Kudzu” you have to drink. Or smoke. Or, as the focus has been recently, eat a mushroom.
I actually don’t suggest that. I don’t want to watch zombie movies on mushrooms. We tried to watch 2001: A Space Odyssey on mushrooms, well, we did watch it. On mushrooms. In the basement of a library that then got closed and locked with us forgotten about in a sub-basement. Glory Days.
